Calendula Oil Infusion – Crafted with Care

We adore the gentle art of crafting herbal oils, a traditional practice of working with plants. Our oils are handmade with love and intention, using herbs grown in our garden or ethically wild-harvested from nature. Each batch is made with respect for the plants, embracing their natural beauty and the care they deserve.

Current Stock: We currently have two bottles of freshly made Calendula Oil (end of July 2024). If you wish to order more, we can prepare it for you on a made-to-order basis, which will take 2-3 weeks to complete.

Calendula Oil (Calendula officinalis)

Throughout the summer, we carefully tended to the calendula flowers in our garden, hand-picking and drying each one at the perfect time. This oil is made from sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus) or borage oil (Borago officinalis), depending on availability.

Traditionally, calendula has been appreciated for its soothing and calming properties. It has been used in natural skincare practices for centuries to help support healthy skin. Our Calendula Oil is a nurturing addition to your daily skincare routine and can also be used for gentle massage.

About Our Herbal Oils

Our oils are not essential oils; they are herbal infusions, where the whole plants are slowly extracted into a carrier oil. This process is a time-honored method of capturing the beneficial qualities of herbs in a gentle and natural way. We create our oils by hand, honoring the traditional practices of herbal craftsmanship.

Some of the plants are wild-harvested, and others are grown in our own garden. We use a copper knife to carefully harvest the plants, as copper is considered to have unique properties in traditional herbal lore.
