The idea of using bronze tools to harvest plants, stems from a deep longing to reconnect with our distant ancestors. It takes us back to an era when people built the abundant burial mounds here in Denmark and still honored nature as a goddess—when the world was alive with spirit and mystery.
The metal of choice in those times was primarily bronze, an alloy composed of copper and tin. The trade and use of bronze, along with the ores needed to produce it, created vast networks that connected the Scandinavian peoples with the Celts, the Greek civilization, the Egyptian pharaohs, and even Indian cultures.
Oak, renowned for its strength and durability, was considered sacred—especially by the Druids, the "Oak-knowers" of the Celtic tribes. It wasn’t just a material but a symbol of resilience, wisdom, and connection to the divine.
A knife holds meaning beyond its practical use. It becomes an extension of intention—where the act of using the knife becomes a sacred moment of connection to nature and spirit.
